Quick answer. At Charter Limo SG, a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire with driver costs from $85 for a Changi arrival, $75 for a departure and $70 for a local transfer. Hourly hire is $70 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, and a full day is $600. Fares are fixed and include tolls and parking.
The Toyota Alphard, and its twin the Vellfire, is the most requested car for airport runs and family trips in Singapore. It seats six in comfort and swallows suitcases that would never fit in a sedan.
This guide sets out what we charge, what is included and when a smaller or larger car is the better buy. All prices are in Singapore dollars.
Typical Alphard transfer prices (arrival vs departure)
Arrivals and departures are priced differently because an arrival involves flight monitoring, a name sign meet-and-greet and a longer free wait.
| Trip type | Alphard / Vellfire fare | Complimentary waiting |
|---|---|---|
| Changi arrival | From $85 | 60 minutes from landing |
| Changi departure | $75 | 15 minutes |
| Local point-to-point transfer | $70 | 15 minutes |
These are fixed fares. Tolls, ERP and parking are included, so the price you are quoted is the price you pay unless you add stops or extras.
What the car holds
- Up to 6 passengers
- Up to 5 large 28-inch suitcases
- Bottled water and a phone charger on board
Six passengers and five large bags is the practical maximum. If everyone has a big suitcase plus hand carry, a larger vehicle may be safer.
Hourly and full-day Alphard charter prices
For roadshows, shopping days, family outings or a series of meetings, hourly hire is usually better value than several separate transfers.
| Charter type | Alphard / Vellfire price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly | $70 per hour | 4-hour minimum |
| Full day | $600 | Best for a long day with many stops |
A 4-hour minimum at $70 per hour comes to $280. If your day will run beyond about eight hours, the full-day rate is usually the better choice. Tell us your plan and we will suggest the cheaper option.
The car and driver stay with you for the whole booking. You do not need to rebook between stops or wait for a ride after each meeting.
Midnight, extra-stop and waiting charges
Our extras are short and fixed.
| Extra | Charge |
|---|---|
| Midnight surcharge (11pm to 7am) | $15 |
| Extra stop on a transfer | $15 per stop |
| Distance surcharge (where applicable) | $15 |
| Booster seat | $15 |
| Infant seat | $25 |
A few examples of how this adds up:
- A Changi arrival at 1am with an infant seat: from $85, plus $15 midnight surcharge, plus $25 infant seat.
- A departure from home that stops to collect a relative on the way: $75, plus $15 for the extra stop.
- A local transfer at 3pm with no extras: $70.
There is no hidden fuel or toll charge on top. You get the full quote on WhatsApp before you confirm.
Alphard vs Noah vs V-Class: when the cheaper car is fine
The Alphard is comfortable, but it is not always the right car. Here is how it compares with our other popular choices.
| Car | Passengers | Large bags | Arrival | Departure | Transfer | Hourly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toyota Noah / Voxy | 5 (3 comfortable) | 2 | $70 | $60 | $55 | $55/hr, 4 hr min |
| Toyota Alphard / Vellfire | 6 | 5 | From $85 | $75 | $70 | $70/hr, 4 hr min |
| Mercedes V-Class | 7 (5 comfortable) | 5 | $95 | $85 | $70 | $70/hr, 3 hr min |
When a Noah or Voxy is enough
If you are two or three people with two big bags, the Noah or Voxy does the job for less. It saves $15 on an arrival and $15 on a transfer compared with the Alphard.
When the Alphard is worth it
Choose the Alphard when you have four to six passengers, more than two large bags, or older family members who will appreciate the roomier seats and easy sliding doors.
When to step up to a V-Class
The Mercedes V-Class seats up to seven, with room for five bags. It also has a 3-hour minimum on hourly hire instead of four. For a short corporate charter, that shorter minimum can make the V-Class the better buy, even at the same hourly rate.
When you need something bigger
For seven or more people with luggage, look at our 13-seater minibus, which takes 13 passengers and 10 bags. Arrivals are $100 and departures $90.
Worked examples: transfers or hourly hire?
Here is how the numbers usually compare for common plans.
Airport arrival and straight to a hotel
A single Changi arrival in an Alphard is from $85. This includes meet-and-greet, flight monitoring and 60 minutes of free waiting. There is no reason to pay for hourly hire.
Two meetings in the CBD and a return to the hotel
Three separate local transfers would be $70 each, so $210. A 4-hour hourly booking would be $280. If your meetings are short and close together, the hourly booking means the car waits for you and you never queue for a ride. If they are spread out across the day, separate transfers may cost less.
A family day out with several stops
Four or five stops across the island add up quickly on transfers. An hourly booking or the full-day rate of $600 is usually simpler. The car stays with you, and the bags or shopping can stay in it.
A late-night arrival with a baby
A 1am Changi arrival in an Alphard with an infant seat comes to from $85, plus the $15 midnight surcharge, plus $25 for the infant seat. That is from $125 in total, fixed in advance.
What is included in every Alphard booking
- A professional driver
- Tolls, ERP and parking
- Bottled water and a phone charger
- Complimentary waiting time, as listed above
- Flight monitoring and a name sign for airport arrivals
Drivers who speak English, Mandarin or Korean can be requested, subject to availability.
Why prices vary between operators
Alphard prices in Singapore differ from one operator to the next. When comparing quotes, check what is included rather than just the headline number.
- Are tolls, ERP and parking included, or added later?
- How long is the free waiting time on arrivals?
- Is there a night surcharge, and from what time?
- Is the quote per car or per person?
- Is there a minimum number of hours for hourly hire?
A lower headline fare with extras added on the day can end up costing more than a fixed price.
