How the wedding day timeline works for the car
A typical day starts with the groom's party leaving to fetch the bride, then the tea ceremony at one or both family homes, the solemnisation, photos, and the dinner venue. The car needs to be ready at each change. Send us your programme with addresses and times, and we plan the charter around it. Your chauffeur keeps to the plan but stays flexible, because games at the bride's door rarely finish on time.
S-Class or Alphard as the bridal car?
The Mercedes S-Class is the classic choice for the couple: a quiet rear cabin for two, at $130 per hour with a three-hour minimum, or $1,000 for the full day. The Toyota Alphard suits a bride with a full gown, or when a bridesmaid or photographer rides along, at $70 per hour with a four-hour minimum, or $600 for the full day. Many couples book one of each, with the S-Class for the couple and the Alphard following.
How many wedding cars do I need?
Start with the couple's car. Add one car for each group that must arrive together at the same time, such as parents or the bridal party. If many relatives need to move between the tea ceremony and the venue, a minibus or coach is usually simpler and cheaper than several cars. Send us your guest groups and addresses, and we will propose a mix and price it in one quote.
Booking your wedding car early
Auspicious dates fill quickly, and the S-Class and Alphard are the most requested wedding vehicles. Book as soon as your date and venues are fixed. If your programme is not final yet, send what you have and we will hold the plan together, then update times closer to the day in the same WhatsApp thread. Any change to hours or vehicles is quoted before it is confirmed. A final run-through of times and addresses a few days before the wedding helps every driver know the plan.
Can we decorate the wedding car ourselves?
Tell us what you have in mind when you book, such as ribbons or a small floral piece, and we will confirm what can be fitted to the car you have chosen without damaging it or blocking the driver's view.
Should the bridal car be booked hourly or full day?
If the car is needed only for the fetch and tea ceremony, hourly charter is usually enough. If it stays with you from morning fetch to the dinner, the full-day fare is often better value. Send your programme and we will compare both.
Can the driver help with the gate-crash timing?
Your chauffeur follows your programme and stays with the car outside, ready when the party comes down. Share the planned times and a contact person, and the driver will keep in touch with them rather than the couple.
Can guests be picked up from different homes?
Yes. A minibus or coach can do a pickup route through several addresses before the ceremony. Send the addresses and the number of guests at each, and we will plan the route and the pickup times.
