Mercedes-Benz S-Class with chauffeur

Most S-Class bookings fall into three groups. Companies book it for senior executives and board members visiting Singapore, often for a full day of meetings with a dinner at the end. Families and hosts book it for an important guest, such as a parent arriving for a wedding. Couples book it as the bridal or groom car. In each case, the car is chosen because the passenger's comfort and the impression on arrival both matter.

On a wedding day, the S-Class usually carries the couple, with an Alphard or other cars following for the family. Its rear cabin is quiet and roomy for two, and it photographs well at the door of the bride's home and the venue. The Mercedes E-Class seats four, three in comfort, takes two large bags and costs $60 per hour or $550 for a full day. It is the sensible choice for most business travellers. The S-Class takes the same two bags but gives one or two passengers far more room and a quieter ride, at $130 per hour or $1,000 a day. For hosting a VIP, the S-Class. For getting a busy manager between meetings, the E-Class is usually enough.
